Transmission of data from Edge to the eBiss

The status of the Edge is checked every second. This check detects:

  1. When new messages have arrived on the Edge or when
  2. messages have been sent.

In order to get the messages as fast as possible from the Edge to the “safe” main eBiss, they are then transferred in the background from the Edge to the eBiss and written there first to the disk (eBiss Message Store). To avoid many small message attachments and to benefit from the “bulk insert”, the import of messages from the local message store to the eBiss database is done every 30 seconds.

The time behavior described above is traceable in the history entries of the message. Thus, for the “Entry” history entry, there is the time of receipt on the Edge, then the time of storage on the main eBiss system, and then the creation date is the time of message creation. For the evaluation, the eBiss Job-Stop eBiss.PluginSamples.EdgeMessageEval was created, whose CSV result can be used for a further evaluation.
