Creating communications addresses

To create a new communication conversation with a partner, click on the corresponding partner (business partner / system partner / template partner). Then select the respective partner in the list, to which you want to add an address by double-clicking.
Now create a new communication address from the menu or context menu. Enter the corresponding address information in the fields of the dialog box.

Name Meaning
Name Name of the address object
Compression mode Type of compression used to compress documents.
Default address With this option, the address can be stored as a default address, i.e. the data stored there is written in the address area of ​​an exchange when a new message is created or read and compared with partner data when a message is received.

Note: Default addresses are used by eBiss whenever corresponding address types are required due to containerization or sending of messages. Alternatives to the default address are described under Alternative communication.

Address types

The following address types can be stored:
