The PHP version of the locally installed eBiss Help has been updated from PHP 7 to PHP 8.4 (8.4.27). This version addresses the critical security vulnerabilities CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619 described in the PHP security advisory.

To switch to PHP 8, the file eBiss.mapache.config is created in the eBiss directory. The previous configuration is backed up as eBiss.mapache.config_3_10_366.bak.

• If the previous configuration has been manually customised, these changes must be checked and, if necessary, carried over to the new configuration file.

When switching to the new environment, a firewall prompt may appear. In this case, access must be permitted in the firewall. In addition, an error message may indicate that the latest version of the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (v14) needs to be installed. In the JobExecutionController job step, when task creation was enabled, the task was created but was not linked to the messages in the job. As a result, the messages were not marked as faulty. This bug has been fixed.
