You have the option to log on using the domain user right on eBiss.WinClient. Furthermore, an administrator can define groups in which domain users who are unknown in ebiss created automatically. You can find more information under Create user and User groups.

The eBiss.API has been enhanced for creating your own (Web-)Plugins. Have a look at our use cases to see how you can write your own jobsteps or eBiss Web Plugins.

File sizes (in byte, kilobyte megabyte and gigabyte) are now being displayed correctly for messages and their corresponding attachments. In addition to that messages and attachments can now be sorted properly by their size.

The following improvements and adjustments regarding the import/export of objects have been made:

• The “Is public”-Flag, present in jobs and mappings, is now being handled correctly.
• Communications addresses (partner element) with empty names (originating from eBiss 2) now receive a dummy name during import.
  This is necessary due to the “Name” field being mandatory in eBiss 3.
• Importing an SMTP send channel or POP3 receive channel with “Authentication = None” and a non-empty “Username”-field is now possible without prior manual adjustments.

Unions (i.e. <xs:union memberTypes=„…“/>) can now be used in XSDs for map object generation.
