Repair Jobs

The Job Designer's Repair button () tells the user that various errors have been found within the current workflow. Only then is this button visible and provides information about the errors found in the lower area of the designer.

Among other things, the repair function checks for dead references, endless loops or missing connections within the jobsteps and attempts to repair them.

  1. Missing references may, e.g. if you import workflows from another node or an eBiss system and did not create the appropriate messagebox, partner, or similar jobstep essential connections or have made them accessible within your system
  2. Endless loops can occur, among other things, when delegated to the same workflow
  3. Various errors can also be detected, e.g. from older versions of eBiss

This check always takes place in principle. As already explained, the user is only informed in the event of a fault and has the possibility to use the button to correct the discrepancies discovered.
