If a client installtion on a PC in the network is desired, the following procedure is recommended:

1. copy the eBiss installation directory exclusively of the following components:
   1. Folder:
      • BACKUPS
      • DBSchema
      • eBissHelp
      • Logs
      • MessageStore
      • Script
      • Settings
      • StandardTemplates
      • Subfolder of Plugins
      • Tools
      • Webs
   2. Executables:
      • eBiss.Configurator.exe
      • eBiss.DBCopy.exe
      • eBiss.Service.exe
      • Uninstall.exe
      • eBiss.CommandClient.exe
   3. Configuration files
      • eBiss.DBCopy.exe.config
      • eBiss.Edge.Service.exe.config
      • eBiss.Service.exe.config
      • eBiss.Service32.exe.config
   4. Log files
      • *.log
2. In the copied file eBiss.WinClient.exe.config¹⁾ the following entries should be removed²⁾:
   

   <add key="DbConnectionString" value="individual DB connection string" />

   and
   

   <add key="EbAccountPass" value="Password" />

3. The server installation configuration must include IP addresses or server names that can be resolved on the LAN.
4. Make sure that all endpoints³⁾ between eBiss CLient, eBiss Service and eBiss database are bi-directionally enabled in the network.
5. Create a shortcut for the eBiss.WinClient.exe⁴⁾ on the desktop of the user account.
